Или кривая предложения отрасли — отражает суммарное предложение фирм, входящих в отрасль. Причем когда цена растет, все фирмы отрасли расширяют свое производство. Это, с одной стороны, способствует насыщению рынка товаром и снижению его цены. Но с другой — повышает спрос на применяемые факторы производства и их цены. Следовательно, предельные издержки фирм растут, а с ними и цены испытывают давление вверх. Кривая совокупного предложения отрасли становится менее чувствительной к изменениям цен (в пределе оказываясь вертикальной).
